The Story Behind the Mask
The UCS 35th Anniversary Gala, An Evening Behind the Mask, is more than a celebration. It is an invitation to look beyond the surface and journey into the heart of United Caring Services: its beginning, its purpose, its people, and the strong foundation that continues to carry the mission forward today.
For 35 years, United Caring Services has stood as a place of compassion, dignity, shelter, and support for individuals and families in our community. Behind every door opened, every meal served, every safe place provided, and every life touched, there is a story of vision, service, resilience, and unwavering care.
This evening will take guests on a meaningful journey through the history of UCS, honoring how it began, why it was needed, and how the foundation built by its founders, leaders, staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners continues to keep UCS strong. As we gather in celebration, we also recognize the work that often happens behind the scenes: the quiet acts of service, the daily commitment to human dignity, and the community partnerships that make healing and hope possible.
An Evening Behind the Mask reminds us that there is always more to the story. Behind every face is a life. Behind every need is a person. Behind every act of care is a mission. And behind 35 years of service is a foundation strong enough to carry UCS into its next chapter.
